Energy Supply Terms.

These terms form the contract between you and Gletscher Energy FZCO for the supply, installation and commissioning of energy equipment. Solar PV, LED, engineering fit-out and related efficiency works.

Your account and use of this website are governed separately by the Platform Terms. Delivery and installation are covered by our Delivery & Installation policy and product defects by our Warranty.

A price on this website or in a calculator output is an indication, not an offer. A binding quotation follows a site assessment and is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise, because equipment and shipping costs move.

The contract forms when we issue a written order confirmation against your acceptance. If a price or specification is obviously wrong, we may decline and refund you in full rather than supply at the erroneous figure, and we will tell you promptly.

Any yield, saving, payback or ROI figure: from our calculators, proposals or site reports. Is a modelled estimate. It depends on irradiance, weather, soiling, shading, grid availability, tariff changes and how you actually use the system.

We do not guarantee a level of generation, a saving or a payback period unless we have signed a separate written performance guarantee with defined measurement conditions. Absent that document, those figures are not warranties and no claim lies for a shortfall against them.

• Site survey: Our quotation assumes the conditions found at survey. If the site differs materially, structure, roof condition, cable routes, switchgear capacity, asbestos or other hazards. We will re-quote the affected work before continuing.
• Access and readiness: You give us safe, timely access, a power supply and clear working areas for the agreed dates. Standing time caused by a site not being ready is chargeable at our published day rate.
• Structural adequacy: Unless we are separately engaged to assess it, you are responsible for confirming that the structure can carry the installed load. We will tell you if we see a reason to doubt it.
• Existing installations: We are not responsible for defects in wiring, mounting or equipment that was already there, though we will report what we find.

Solar and other connected systems need approval from the local utility or authority, DEWA, SEWA, EtihadWE, FEWA or the relevant free zone. Where we act for you we will prepare and submit the application, but the decision, its timing and its conditions rest with that authority.

We do not warrant that connection approval will be granted or granted by a particular date, and authority fees are passed on at cost. Where approval is refused for reasons outside our control, we are paid for work performed and equipment already procured.

• Currency: All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED).
• VAT: Prices for supplies made in the UAE include Value Added Tax at 5% where applicable, under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017. Gletscher Energy FZCO issues the tax invoice for everything in this service line.
• Total price: The full amount payable: goods or services, VAT and any delivery or installation charge. Is confirmed to you in writing before you commit. Nothing is added after that point.
• How you pay: Payment is arranged directly with us: bank transfer, Aani, or card and cash on delivery where offered. There is no card checkout on this website, and we never ask for your card details by email or message. Treat any such request as fraudulent and tell us.
• Proof of payment: Your order moves out of pending status once we have verified the transfer. Quote your order reference on the transfer so we can match it.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your site. Title stays with us until we have been paid in full, so until then you may not sell, encumber or remove the equipment, and we may recover it if payment fails.

This is the ordinary retention-of-title position for equipment supply, and it protects both sides: it is also why we will not commission a system on which payment is outstanding.

Changes you request after order confirmation are quoted as a written variation before we act on them. We do not absorb scope changes silently and then present a larger invoice at the end.

Nothing in this document reduces the rights UAE law already gives you. Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023 entitle you to accurate information before you buy, goods and services that match their description and are fit for purpose, and a remedy when they are not. Where anything here conflicts with those rights, those rights prevail.

For distance purchases you also have a 14-day right to cancel without giving a reason, subject to the exclusions UAE law permits. The detail is in the relevant refund policy.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, Gletscher Energy FZCO’s total liability arising out of a given order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data that we could not reasonably have foreseen when the contract was formed.

Neither party is in breach for a delay or failure caused by something genuinely outside its reasonable control: including utility and network outages, supplier or shipping failure, regulatory action, and natural events. We will tell you promptly, and if the disruption runs beyond 30 days either of us may cancel the affected order and you are refunded for anything not delivered.

Your contract with Gletscher Energy FZCO is governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, and you and we submit to the competent courts of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Please raise a problem with us first. Most are resolved quickly and at no cost. If we cannot agree, you may escalate free of charge to the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism: Consumer Protection Department on 600 522 225 or via moet.gov.ae. That route is open to you whether or not you also go to court.

We may update this document as the law or our services change. The effective date at the top always tells you which version is current, and the version that applied when you placed your order is the one that governs it. Material changes affecting an active subscription or project are notified to you by email before they take effect.
